The service was always gracious and attentive (yet discreet), even when the staff were busy. Their simplest dishes (the red cabbage and polenta, in particular, and the fried oyster mushrooms with tarragon and tumeric mayo) were the best - exquisitely balanced, explosions of flavour with delicate notes. Total value for money, given that my lunch at GingerGi (at €41 per person inclusive of wine) in Padova was better than what I have had at a couple of Michelin 1-star restaurants in Rome!
